not to discourage you, but.... My wife had a 97 Ram CC 5.9 auto. At 56k
we had to have the AC replaced. At 68k the transmission didn't want to shift
out of 2nd gear until 40mph. Took it to the dealer and they rebuilt the
tranny... not under warranty. 2k miles later, the tranny started leaking.
70k, the AC quit again. Had it fixed again. When we sold it at 82k (?) the
tranny was starting to stick in 2nd again. I personally will not buy
another Dodge full size truck , based on the problems we had with this one.
Oh, and it also DRANK gas... we got about 8-10 city and a best of 18 hiway,
generally it was 16ish. I recomend making sure the tranny shifts correctly.
That seems to be a big problem on Ram's. Ask about the air, see if it has
ever been fixed or replaced.

Those are the only problems we ever had, it was a good truck other than
that. Enjoy your beast! =]
