Wow! This thing stopped sneaking up on us about a month ago; its in a
full-on charge now!
The 3rd Annual DML BBQ and trail ride is exactly one month and one day
away! Check out the even profile (url below) for the full details. Here's
the summary:
When: Fri & Sat July 6-7, 2001
Where: Forestville, NY (that's about an hour southwest of Buffalo)
Why: Because its a blast! :-)
Although a good deal of the meet centers around offroading, you don't
have to have a 4x4 to attend. Folks with 2wd vehicles (I'm one of 'em...)
are welcome to attend. We're definitely planning on a cruise or something
to a local ice cream shop which is something all the trucks can participate
in. (Of course, the 2wd folks ride along in the 4x4s on the trail run; its
not like we leave ya standing around while we wheel.) :-) (Or, if you're
into ATVs, dirt bikes, etc, you're welcome to bring them along.)

If you're planning on attending, please let me know so I can try to buy
enough food beforehand. As of right now, we've got 12 people and 11 trucks
signed up, plus there will be some extra folks coming from Peter Cutler's
offroad club.
