  What I did was to make some metal shims, which I put at the back
of the traction bar to raise the snubber. (Got some strips of metal
which I cut to about the right length, drilled a couple holes in
them for the U bolt to run through, and installed them between the
spring and the traction bar at the back u-bolt).
