Where did you mount them? On your lid? My lid is too hard to take off and put on everytime I want to go!:)

At the bike shop they sell fork mount bike brackets\rack that you mount on a
2x4 . You remove the front wheel of the bike and put your forks on to the
bracket. Holds the bike nice. I had 2 bike in my truck standing up with a
cap and tailgate closed. Plus plenty of room for other stuff.
