I need to remove my grille bars without destroying the mounting tabs, so
they can be reinstalled. I am going to paint them, and do not know if it is
possible to reinstall them. I assume I will have grind off the melted/
mushroomed end of the mounting tabs, smoothe them, and use screws to
reinstall the bars. Has anybody ever done this?
