Heh, i know you're not lying there. i saw Atlanta actually didscore worst
on some survey on,I believe, MSNBC a while back. Cops here will get you for
65+ here without a second thought. How you can drive depends on where you
live i guess. :)

You tell the truth, although I believe you're being a bit conservative
here... I don't even want to talk about 285, especially near 400
or at spaghetti junction. I'm trying as hard as I can to move far
far away from this mess. :)

Just yesterday, I saw a Yukon go flying by (about 90 or 95mph) a
Porsche Boxster that was doing 45 in the lane beside them (the
Porsche had a donut spare on his car). It is quite ridiculous
around here.

I've driven in LA and DC, and I can honestly say that Atlanta wins
the "worst driving" certificate. :(

If you need more evidence, check out The Atlanta Roadway Digest at
http://www.tardsite.com/ .

And to be a little on topic... I get 16mpg consistently (15 to 17),
whether I keep my foot out of it (hey, it can happen) or keep the
pedal to the metal. However, I suspect my oil burning contributes
greatly to this.
