Did you try holding down the "on" button and pressing "set" at the same time
(all the while keeping pressure on the "on" button. My 95 Dak may be
configured differently but my cruise control "on" button was broken. It was
fixed for about a year by shoving a couple of dimes underneath it. I suppose
the proper fix is to replace the button, although you may have to buy the
whole set of buttons (not sure, I was afraid to ask)
