If it were mine, I'd be calling DTS and ordering me up a bolt-in Dana 60
already set up w/ the gear and differential of your choice. They build 'em
w/ the 6-lug axles w/drum or disc brake setups. 9-3/4" ring gear in the 60
is a full inch bigger than that 8-3/4". Just a suggestion!

Well after I blew the 8 1/4 diff. I looked around a nobody had a gen II 8
1/4 diff. The local wrecker has a 8 1/4 for a gen III but it's about 2 1/2
" wider but the spring perches are in the right location. I thought about
going to 8 3/4 from an E body but I would loss my 6 bolt wheels and ABS.
The 8 3/4 would sure look sweet and it's almost indestructible! Anyone have
any ideas?
