i think the air bags are set to go off at "elk" or "moose" size impacts.

also a gen 2 dak with its lighter weight would have been a minimun
of 72.145 feet further down the road (considering normal acceleration values)

and the deer would have passed behind the vehicle....

gen 2's are safer
