Warm soapy water to wash it...then dry well with terry cloth. Finally, wipe
down area with Isopropyl alcohol...thats should do ya :)

Any solvent stronge than IPA and you risk damaging the clear coat.....the
IPA really does the trick in preparing the surface for any type of adhesive.
