Hey everyone,
Does anyone have a list compiled of all the things I'll need to put a 5.9
in place of my 5.2 Iknow I'll need a computer for a 95 5.9 auto ram , will
it bolt on the fender support (on my dak) just like the one I have now?
Also I'd like to use a 9.5:1 compression ratio. MP has a few short blocks
available with this ratio but I'm not sure if I'll run into any probs since
they dont list it as a service replacement motor (although I had assumed this
was due to the comp.ratio and cam). If I replace the cam with one the
computer can deal, with will it work?
I thought I remember hearing that someone used one of these short blocks with
a hughes cam (1828 I think). Any part numbers you can provide would be
greatly appreciated, I'll probably run the hughes stage 1 RT heads. Any
pitfalls you can warn me about would also be great.
