Hello Fellow DAKer's!
It's been a while since I've been around. Work, school, and family life has
been crazy. Calculus anyone?
I'm still going through the DML emails and I'm up to December 3. I wanted to
pass along my thoughts and prayers to the families of David Digney, Tom
Slick, and Punch. David, my dad had a heart attack which obviously scared
the heck out of everyone. Luckily he is still here. We get out and golf
every chance we get. Tom, my great grandmother made it to 101! Truly, a
remarkable woman. Just think of everything these women have witnessed.
Punch, I have not witnessed anything like this in my family. I worked with a
good sized guy (6-4, 265) who T-boned another person. He was in a F-250.
After 1.5 years, he finally has 100% of his speech, memory, and balance
back. I too have followed your advice of slowing down on the roadways.
Dak content: I just flipped 30k already with my '01. Purrs like a kitten and
ready to pounce. I have received the blessing from my wife for the go-ahead
with the Z-tube (as a mileage enhancer (Shhh!) ), but since the gas prices
have fallen 40% I have not done it. Perhaps in the spring.
Hopefully I'll be caught up with everything by Friday. Only 500 Emails from
Dec. 3 to go :) I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We had 65 people
gathered for a wonderful feast at our time-share in Ft. Myers Beach, FLA.
