The 45RFE and all other Mopar automatics 2000+ require ATF+4 fluid. At this
point, I'm pretty sure the only place you can get it is Mopar. I'f I'm not
mistaken, the ATF+4 IS a synthetic fluid. You're probably best off just
getting the trans filter at the dealer too, as there are at least 2
different neck heights for the 45RFE filter element depending on the pan. If
you don't get the proper one, either the pan won't even go back on or the
filter won't be deep enough to function properly. There may be more now that
the RAM has the 45RFE.HTH,
