Re: Mileage figures for 2001, longish

Neil,
Since we've got identical trucks aside from the rear axle (I have 3.55, you
have 3.92), my figures:
1999: (Jun 2-end of year)
    7854 miles
    537.2 gallons
    14.62 MPG
2000:
    16730 miles
    1113.84 gallons
    15.02 MPG
2001:
    15637 miles
    1085.9 gallons
    14.40 MPG

I have an Excel spreadsheet at work with all of this plotted on graphs too (the
Palm app I track with feeds it the raw data).

My mileage has been in the crapper since the end of summer. Pulled 12 MPG on my
last tank, then found my front tires were about 5 pounds low. 2000 was marked
by numerous long-distance trips (DML BBQ, 2000 miles total for 2 weddings,
vacation in DC, couple trips to Plattsburgh) which certainly pulled the mileage
figures up from 1999's. Maybe my 2001 mileage is more "normal" than 1999's
since I had a full winter's worth of driving in 2001, vs. half a winter in 1999.

Here's hoping the Flowmaster gives me some mileage when I get around to putting
it on.
