Re: Power tailgate lock

I installed the PowerGate tailgate lock earlier this summer, and I think
that they are one in the same, but don't hold me to it. As for install, you
need nimble fingers to get the lock in and under the tailgate handle. Other
than that, it was a piece of cake. I would plan on about an hour to
install, but it should take much less time than that. I have had no problem
at all with mine, and would buy one again in a heartbeat. Oh and one other
thing. Something that stumped me for a couple minutes was when I would
press the unlock button on my remote it would not unlock, but it would lock
by pressing the button. What I quickly found out was that it unlocks on the
second press of the button like your passenger doors.

Hope this helps,
Jason
