hey guys, everybody was running .2 to .5 quicker on this track.
they have built a new nhra sanctioned dragstrip..they also have a
roadcourse..i ran my r/t today..my best time at baytown was 13.98.with some
tuning. my 1st run was a 13.45..with 6psi pully..ran a few more times and
all were 13.9 and 1 14.08...changed out the optimizer and put 9 psi pully
on..1st run 13.88.my dumbass left the ac on and the od on..the next run with
#11pin jumped and the ac off and tailgate removed..also left at 5500rpm used
108 octane gas and cooled the kenne bell housing to a surface temp of
102F..the run was 13.3...the next runs icooled everything just as before. i
ran 13.3 and the other runns were all 13.6 to 13.9.. joey has a rc r/t like
mine w/kenne bell running 6 psi his mods are stock tb,i sold him my kenne
bell headers,m1 intake, cam, and stock heads reworked by stephan from
southland dodge racing.running bfg drag radials like mine.1st run
13.57...next run 13.02..this run he blew out headgasket..he had disconnected
the knock sensor..also his son added 93 octane gas instead of the 110
octane..im glad im not his son..he blew it about 20ft from the traps..
