I truthfully can't tell you. I ordered the PCM the day I bought the truck (I
got it used). It did disappear the speed limiter, upped the shift points,
and allows for more fuel and timing at WOT. You're better off with the
stocker with the S/C. Because you don't want to dial in more timing, you
want less, unless you're willing to run octane boost all the time, or pop
head gaskets. If I recall correctly, Hihj Perfomance Mopar, did a follow up
on a 95 318 Dak with a blower, and they experienced this problem, and the
article went into some detail about it, including timeslips. Your best bet
is a custom flashed PCM, keep tweaking on the KB module, or go for a
SpeedPro type system. IMO. I'd be interested in chatting with you at some
point as I'm building up a 408 for use under my Vortech unit that popped 2
sets of gaskets on my 98 5.2.
