Chris,
    2 pounds of boost = 1 point in compression ratio
    1 point in compression ratio = 3 octane needed
    1 air/fuel ratio increase = 2 octane
So you see that any boost is going to call for more octane. Unless you're
running 6 to 1 to start with. Bill
