I've learned to deal with things like that, sometimes you just can't win. The SS
or WS6 is not without it's problems just like any car or truck. Try rear hatch
and door rattling problems, engine knocking sound in idle (4gen). Try driving it
in snow, or hitting bumps. The new F-body's still have all the problems the old
ones had, they just come with more power. I use to own a 3gen F-Body, GTA. The
main reason I didn't buy a 4th gen was due to it's very sloped window. First you
cant see jack, then your front end feels like a station wagon. Sure you can run
high 13's easy, but anything more, your talking about risking rear end failure
or tranny problems if stock. Stick with your R/T, trying adding a supercharger
Forget the laughing gas, it can't be had all the time like a supercharger. It
will cost you more to sell your R/T and find a decent F-body that isn't ragged
out. Now that will be hard to do, unless some fool bought a SS and didn't go
fast with it. Who buy's a mid range sport car to go slow in? Unless it's a
corvette or other upper class sport car. Do what you want, just drive that
F-body for a few day's before buying it. Did I mention the flip lights on the
WS6 can be a nightmare if they start giving you problems like not flipping up
correctly.

i am seriously thinkin about sellin the r/t. it pisses me off more and more
everyday. i just replaced the upper ball joints, and the lower control arm
bushings are worse than ever. ive ran a total of 3lbs of nitrous and i am
disappointed with its overall performance. dodge has let me down with the
installation of a truck 360 in the dak and called it performance. if i
decide to sell it, i am going to get a low mileage SS or WS6. the ls1 is a
beautiful engine. but dont worry, ill be back when a dakota srt-8 or the
ram srt-10 comes out. i would like to get some input on what my truck could
sell for. its a '99 cc fr r/t, djm 3/5 kit, nx nitrous, indiglo gauges,
autlite 3923's, IAT adjuster. thanks for the input guys.
