Has anybody had any problems with their Permacool electric fans?
I have on of the 16" ones replacing the stock clutch fan. My problem is the darn thing is blowing fuses left and right. It will run for a couple minutes, if that at which point the wires get so hot the insulation will melt if its close to another wire or metal.
My wiring runs like so:
-Ground wire from fan to front fender sharing a ground with the headlight
-Power wire from fan runs through the coolant tempature sensor supplied by Permacool, and straight to the battery
All connections are tight and wiring is straight and away from dangers.
ARGH!!!! Somebody help me out here, please...
