I agree with Lora about the HP cameras. I bought the HP PhotoSmart 912. I
like it because its through-the-lens viewfinder is very much like a film
SLR. It's USB interface is simple and the driver supports TWAIN so you can
pull pictures off your camera from within any graphics program that supports
that standard. Finally, the optics are made by Pentax. I've been an amateur
fan of Pentax for >20 years.
