Hi Ron, I changed over to Mobil after about 1100 miles. Perhaps I
changed too soon? My mechanic old me to change the oil at 1000 miles so
I did. I am using a NAPA Gold Filter which I understand is a good
filter. I have been noticing that my valve train/lifters are noisier
than when the engine was first installed. I hope I wasn't too hard on
the engine too soon after the rebuild. I'll admit teh engine
consistantly gets up about 3100 RPM's - I am not light on the gas. Plus
I was plowing snow with the truck about a month after the rebuilt was
installed.
