If everything is bolted correctly Chris, the Gibson shouldn't cause the
resonance that is occuring. My guess would be the catalytic converter.
When I replaced my factory with the Gibson I started the truck with just the
"cat" and no exhaust, just for fun, and I got a whole bunch of resonance,
rumbling, and whatever else you would call it. I think that the problem can
be traced to the catalytic converter being so free flowing. Oh yeah, I have
the '00 V6 club cab 5spd, but the characteristics shouldn't differ that
much.
