Also, another thing...I'm not quite sure on this...SEMIHEMI01 could probably
answer this better..are you sure your t-stat is in correctly? Shouldn't it
be in upside-down based on the proximity of this in the 4.7 engines?
Correct me if I'm wrong, Bill. Also, wasn't there another hole or something
you had to deal with?

First thing I would do is pressure check the system. Nothing will piss you
off more than to find out the radiator cap wasn't holding pressure and you
spent all that money for a $5 item. Remember, first symptom of overheating
in these new vehicles is amount of antifreeze, flow, and pressure. Now, if
you check that and it's still a problem then it's off to more exotic (and
expensive) things. My guess would be the water pump. By the way, you
haven't removed and replaced your serpentine belt lately, have you?
