I had a 97 CC(genIII). When the original 235/70R15's wore down I replaced
them w/ General 275/60R15's all around (on original 15X8's). Clearance was
fine on this stock height truck, overall diameter is the same and traction
and handling improved greatly. They would probably stick out about 1/2"
beyond stock fender, but I got the flares. BTW the original 235's stuck out
beyond the fender too. That's how I got the dealer to put in the flares-for
free!
