yourself a tow strap, a good one. And always, ALWAYS tread lightly, stay on
the marked trails, and don't trespass on anyone's land.

Oh, and you'll mostlikely want to get a 4wd soon, with good aggressive
tires, so start looking now!! hehehe

I'll add one item to Adam's good advice: Attach the tow strap to something
on the truck BEFORE you hit the mud.
If you have a hitch receiver, that's the best place in the rear. If the tow
strap has a sewn-in loop, push the loop into the receiver and trap it with a
drawbar pin. The one who is stuck is usually responsible for attaching hooks
or straps to his vehicle unless you are traveling with someone who is
willing to get dirty hooking up your truck while you sit in the cab (;-D)
