A buddy of mine here at work was driving home yesterday and hit a piece of
road garbage. He thinks it was a piece of angle iron about a foot long. It
ripped out a inch section of the tranny cooling line :-0 At 65mph this
drained in tranny of ATF and soaked the bottom of his 2000 CC in no time at
all. He got a tow home. Today he's going to repair the cooling line. The
question is; Would this cause any internal damage to the 45RFE by have its
fluid of life sucked out of it like that? If he can find the filters this AM
he'll pull the pan and change them also.
