It could effect your power if it;
-has fouled your plugs.
-has left carbon deposits in your combustion
 chamber, causing pre-ignition.
-has burnt enough oil to cause serious engine
 damage, from loss of oil pressure.
-has burnt enough oil to ruin your O2 sensor.
-has burnt enough oil to ruin your cat.

I'm sure I missed a few, hope it's nothing serious.
