first: get it weighed :-)

second: With no one in the vehicle, I seriously doubt it's over 4,000lbs.. I have a 97 CC SLT 2wd 5.2, and with me (200lbs), sub-woofers (100lbs or so.. HEAVY BOX!), and a Class 3 hitch, I weighed in at 4380 at the track... So, you figure that it's around 4050 without that additional weight in there, plus the GenII's are considerably lighter than the GenIII's. Most GenII's I've seen weight between 3600 and 3800lbs (all 2wd I think).. so add a little weight for the 4wd.. with you, 4000-4100 would be my guesstimate
