That was in the Dakota more heavy duty days.. Not to dis you Gen III guys out there; buit the new trucks have more creature comforts & style and less practical function. At one time you could get a V8, 5spd, 2600# payload, and an 8 foot box.. Plenty of truck for towing or carrying anything you'd usually need and right up there with the full size trucks specs. The 2600# springs are still available aftermarket; but won't fit the Gen III's. I plan to swap mine out with them one day along with an add-a-leaf kit as well.
