Hi Rich,
Looks like the new larger radiator was to much for the
dual fans. Combined with the ambient temps the heat
buildup was to much for the wiring, thermo-switch
failed etc. After checking fuses, I found out the 30amp
main fuse holder had melted. All this after a year and
a half of service. 2 other things I believed contributed to
the problem. The 30 amp main wiring guage was to small
and the relay was to close to the radiator. I acually had wax
comming out of the relay enclosure. I've removed all the
wiring and will start over if I find the right fan. I think the
Viper fan will not fit in a tight 4" space. :^(

On the tranny, I think I'll drop the MTL and try the Royal
purple. What the heck, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
I just hope I'm not to late on a possible ovefill of MTL.

Go Dodge!

George

Hi George,
Yeah, that was sweet! I didn't get to watch it, but I listened in its
entirity while crusing across the Slyline Drive.

I'm going to drop the MTL in my NV3500. It shifts ok when cold, but once
it
warms up, it shifts terrible. Going to either mix MTL & MT90 50/50, or go
straight MT90.

What happened to your electric fan? I was going to go dual Perma-Cools,
but
now think it is going to be a Viper fan.

Good to hear from you. Let me know what happens.
