I have a friend that just bought a 64 Newport which has what seems to be a
factory 3 speed manual on the floor with a big block engine with a 2 bbl
carb, (361 or 383 I don't know). It is supposed to be a 1 owner car and
original. The car has no a/c, manual brakes and power steering. Can anyone
validate the factory 3 speed on the floor and how rare could this car be?
Yes it runs and drives and only needs a valve job.
