Hi Alex
My tire dealer tells me it is possible to do rear wheel alignment on
almost any vehicle with a solid rear axle and leaf spring suspension by
inserting shims behind the brake backing plate. I think some of the latest
hi tech alignment equipment does not like to do this sort of work hence a
rather hi price for added manhours to do a kind of manual task here. Before
my Dakota I had a Dodge mini-Caravan cargo van on which I had the rear wheels
aligned in this manner and the result was perfect.
