Yowsas! Really glad to hear you and the truck came out of that
one OK! I realize hindsight is 50/50, arm chair quarterback, and
no offence intended, etc. but just wondering why not shut the engine
off first thing? I'm also just curious for my own sake because if
that were to happen to me, that'd be the first thing I tried, get on
the brakes, shut the key off, tranny to neutral (maybe not nescessary
on an auto), and key to ACC position to unlock the wheel. If that's
not the appropriate action, better I learned that now than when it
actually happens! :-)

Kinda puts those media hyped Audi problems "it just took off" in
a new light too. If you can stop a 4000+ truck with 300+ lb-ft from
100mph at WOT, the liklihood of having an Audi overpower its brakes
from a dead stop seems pretty durn remote. :-)

Anyway, I'm glad you were able to keep a cool head, control the
situation and walk away with no damage! Hopefully you'll eventually
figure out what went wrong.
