Oops - my mistake - sorry; I didn't realize there was a separate
light for it, I thought it just lit up the "check engine" light. In
that case, I don't see a problem with pulling the bulb (or a piece of
electrical tape to cover it up might get you by until you have a chance
to pull the bulb or have someone reset it.
