I had a similar problem, but it only happened after Jiffy Lube did a
"backwash" of the transmission fluid. I think they did not remove the pan
to do this.

The bolts on the transmission pan seemed loose and I tightened them all 1/4
to 1/2 turn so they all felt the same tightness. It stoped the leaks. 6
months later and still nothing.
