now we are sitting here in germany and had no Dodge source.
A few weeks ago I posted some problems with my friends and my Dakota (ī92 3.9l V6 and ī93 3.9l V6). The problem was our ooil pressure. Now we figured out that the ī92 Dakota has a broken block.
Now I try to get prices for a block and addresses where I can order one maybe two, I havenīt checked mine till now.
First we thought it will be the camhaft and the bearings where we loose the pressure.
Does anybody knows a source? I donīt think that I get the block at Autozone/Pep Boy or Napa, or?
Does anybody has a price for the block?
Has anybody done that before?
One way is to get the block at our local Chrysler dealer. Chrysler, as they expand to europe, said that the storage has to look like the storage in the us. What they donīt tthink anout was that they never selled Dodge cars/trucks in europe. I havenīt asked them what they want to have for the block and if they have a block here in europe but I think it will be about 3000 Euros which is about 3000$.
I am still in hope that my motor only has psoblems with the camshaft and the bearings.
