That's true Bill, for a 15" rim, with a 16" rim you've got a little less
sidewall (on the same size tire) so it's not quite as bad. Yes, a 10" rim
would be better, and look better in my opinion, but then I'd have to do some
major trimming on the fenders (or go a few inches higher in lift). 33x12's
on a 16x8 isn't too bad, BFG recommends a 9" rim for the 305/70R16, but
lists 8-9.5" as acceptable. It's amazing how much of a difference two
inches in rim size can make tho, my brother had a set of 33x12.50R15 BFG
MT's on 15x8 rims on his CJ5, then he switched to 15x10's with the same
tires, looked like a completely different setup.
