The dealership I dealt with was the DAY automotive group .....
I gave them 2 chances to give me a good deal on the percentage rate and all
they did was try to shaft me with % rates .
The final time I gave them resulted in a
rate of 15% and I told them no way in hell.......
and a payment of almost $500.00 a month....
(this was back in Nov '00)
Before all the lower rates and factory incentives.
But I'll never use the dealers finance dept
again on a purchase like this.
Not all dealers are this greedy, like the one I dealt with,
but at the time they were the only dealer that had the Dakota I was looking
for that I could afford to purchase.
it also seems that certain area's are prone to financing company's with
varying % rates .......deals can be had in some lacations and not others.
