I've been running the Gibson single 3" side exit stainless cat back on my
'98 4X4 CC 5.2 for the past few years and I'm very happy with it. It has a
2.5" inlet with 3" exit muffler. It exits in the stock location and sounds
great. It's not much louder than stock when new, but now that it has about
70K miles on it, it's gotten quite a bit louder, but still not objectionable
at all. I'd buy it again if I bought a new truck.

I'm running the Positive Performance (Mopar) headers as well and they too
have been great. I bought them with Cermatech ceramic coating but it flaked
off after about 2 years. I then sent them off to Jet Coatings and had them
redo them. No problems since. I tow a light load from time to time but
mostly drive the truck on the highway. Bottom end wasn't affected on my
truck, though many others have stated differently. These headers come with a
new Y-pipe.
