After a lot of thought and endless hours of research (checking out what
everyone else has done to their Daks), I have compiled a list of which
upgrades I want on my Dak (2002 3.9L v6). This will take some time to
complete, and I hate to start anything unless I have a plan to follow, so
here my list so far:
Engine Mods:
Air Intake System: Intense Performance (Stage II)
Throttle Body (48mm): F & B
Exhaust System: Gibson Dual Sport
Ignition System: MSD 6A
Cap and Rotor: Accel
Sparkplug Wires: MSD 8.5mm
*Coil: MSD Blaster SS
180 deg. Thermostat: Robert Shaw
Electric Fan ???
Power Pulleys: ???
Roller Rockers: Crower ??
Have I missed anything? Please feel free to add/critique my mods list.
Warning, stupid question follows:
Okay, could someone explain to me what the *coil does, and why would I want
to upgrade it?
