    A Mopar Performance (v8) PCM would probably get the engine
running (or a stock replacement V8 PCM, if the MP unit isn't
available). Not sure about the VIN mismatch; obviously this
isn't a problem for the earlier model trucks, but for the
late model ones I guess you would need to figure out what is
telling the truck it has a V6 and change its mind. (Some code
in the data bus maybe?)
