Do the new Daks have one of those cabin filters? Maybe yours is missing....

Subject: DML: Interior problems.......

Hi.I`ve been on here only sporadically recently, but
something`s come up and I need help:

The problem is,my dash is literally covered with a
film of dust, and I have no clue what to do about it.
It has steadily gotten worse over the past couple
months, and now it needs fixed. I did take it into the
dealer for them to look at,and they basically said it
was my problem to deal with! THIS IS A BRAND-NEW
TRUCK!!!

This has me very upset and wondering about my new car
purchase! I feel that twenty-five months of ownership
is much too soon to being seeing the onset of this
kind of thing, and I`m honestly considering legal
action of some sort. Something is probably going to
get really dirty on this truck when I have NO warranty
protection AT ALL left!

Now,it did occur to me to just grab a damp cloth and
wipe the dash off thoroughly,to remove the dust. But
then I thought,is it really a good idea to go inside a
$24,000 vehicle and just start flinging a cotton towel
around? Not hardly!

So I guess we`ll have to see what the judicial system
comes up with.

P.S. My whole Dak is filthy dirty and I know it is my
responsibility to clean it. I know that. :)

Sorry for any confusion I may have caused.
