My previous cars:

1977 Cadillac Sedan Deville, white tank w/ red leather, nearly 20'
long... got rid of it when the driver seat fell out the bottom thru a
rust hole

1990 Lincoln Town Car, slightly smaller tank, but still large... got rid
of it when within a week: tranny lost reverse, trunk wouldn't latch,
heater & a/c both broke, stopped idling, stopped starting w/o hitting
the gas, rear power windows died...

2000 Ford Taurus, nice car, but too small (and tiny mirrors). Got rid
of it w/ over 28k miles and 26 months left on my bumper-to-bumper $50
deductable warantee because I felt like I was gonna be crushed by all
the H2 and Suburban driving 5'3" women that seem to fill the expressway
into boston on the average morning...

Now I have this Dakota, it's very nice, but I think a nice RAM 2500 is
in my future at some point...

I have a friend at work who drives a Mercury Crapi, it's such a damn
death trap... but his other vehicle is a 1200cc crotch rocket... his gf
drives a Hyundia that makes a Toyota Corolla look like a land barge...
he says the best defense is a good offense... I'd like to know I can
fall asleep behind the wheel and still survive :)
