Dakota gone, but not forgotten

As some of you picked up by one of my previous emails from last week, the
time, and opportunity, to let my Dakota go in favor of a real towing rig
presented itself and I took it. I drove my Dak for the very last time last
Friday when I drove it to the dealer to pick up a fresh new 04 Ram 2500 CTD
LB Laramie. While I was a bit sad to see the Dak go after 6 1/2 years and
146748 miles of ownership, the new truck makes up for it in every way. This
new truck is simply awesome and I highly recommend one to anyone who has, or
is considering buying, a travel trailer over about 24 feet in length. The
power of the Cummins 600 is unreal. After everything I did to the 318 in my
Dak, it does not compare in any way to the Cummins engine. This thing simply
rocks. No matter the speed or gear, it seams, if I push on the throttle, the
truck accelerates. The four wheel disk brakes are something my Dakota needed
from day one. I'm not knocking the Dak as it performed it's needed duties
with flying colors, but my needs have changed and the Ram is simply the
better vehicle for me now.

As I go through the garage, I'm finding bits and pieces I'll offer up to the
list. Gary has dibs on my stock throttle body, but I still have the factory
PCM and exhaust manifolds for whoever wants them. I'll put together a list
of the other items when I'm confident I have found everything.
