Is it really necessary to remove the engine block drain plugs to drain the
coolant prior to flushing the system? Wouldn't flushing the system take care
of getting the coolant out of the engine block. I was just going to remove
the lower radiator hose and get out what I can, then remove the upper and
stick a hose in it (after removing the thermostat, of course).
