I drove a few International 4700s with the DT-466e engines back when I still
drove wreckers and always loved them. I don't know if you would be gaining
anything by swapping that DT-466e with a Cummins. It's not exactly the same
Powerstroke they're putting in the Ford SuperDutys. As much as I like the
Cummins, I don't see it as an upgrade in this truck. I don't see anything
about price on International's website but another site states:
"It's also about twice the price of H2, about the same as H1. It starts at
$93,000, runs $105,000 typically equipped and tops out at $115,000 with DVD
player, leather upholstery, tilting dump box and rear-view camera."

If I could afford one of these new CXTs, I would buy one. That would make an
awesome tow rig and if you own your own business, it's a hell of a tax
deduction. I'm sure you'll see some landscapers and contractors running
these within a short time.
