Replace that thermostat first, I bet that is your problem...

Subject: DML: Runnin hot!

The last few days, it seems my engine is running a bit
hot. Usually it doesn't go over 210 degrees unless its
really hot out. The past few days haven't been above
70 degrees and it looks like it is hitting the 220
mark. And it is hitting this temp while I'm movin
along the highway at 70+mph too. The electric fan is
working, and it does cool it down again and I checked
the coolant level and it looked ok. I checked the
front grill, and I don't see anything blocking the
radiator. I'm a bit concerned about this.

Any ideas what could be causing this? Thermostat
sticking maybe? Should I reset the computer?

Now that I'm thinking of it, I never reset the
computer after I got that code about the gas cap being
loose. It went away on its own. I wonder if the
computer is boogered. I'll give that a try tonight.
