Correct - Napa Silver and Gold are WIX filters. We use these for the folks
who want the $9.95 oil change.

I've been running the Mobil-1 Filters since I could buy them at my Former
employer's (AZ) and I've had no knocking issues on start up with that
filter. I'm running the Bosch Filter on my 99' and so far no issues
either....
Has anyone had this issue with the NAPA Gold #1085?....these are made by Wix
Filters..
