CO2 doesn't perform better. We run our markers at 280FPS and most of us
shoot anywhere from 15-22 rounds/sec. The CO2 freezes up....compresses air
doesn't.

You could, but IMO CO2 performs better over time. It's only like $2 at the
field I play at, so it's not really that big of a deal. I don't have any
way to get compressed air into the tank.
